Buffalo Business First has named Graham Corporation as the region's Manufacturer of the Year.

Graham's growing operations and transformational projects for the U.S. Navy, aerospace companies, and energy companies were cited as part of the honor.

CEO Daniel Thoren told Business First that it was the employees that were advancing the growth of their Batavia-based company.

“Our employees are pretty amazing. We have engineers that do work on rockets, and you can call them rocket scientists,” he said. “We can design the best thing in the world, but if we don’t build it with the best quality and construction, it blows up. So, we look at all of our folks as rocket scientists to some level, because we ask a lot of them.”

The GCEDC has supported Graham's steady growth in Batavia and is proud to see the work of our local leaders and workforce celebrated regionally.
