Inspiring, Preparing & Supporting Workforce

Genesee County’s team-based approach to workforce development has led the way in supporting workforce programs that ensure all students graduating from our high schools get hands-on experience with in-demand jobs, learn on the same equipment used by our companies, and join our adult population in receiving training that prepares them for debt-free and successful careers.

In addition to our highly-ranked engineering universities and colleges with 30,000+ engineering and technician students enrolled annually, five regional community colleges, and dedicated workforce training centers, Genesee County-based workforce partnerships that supported reach 4,000+ students annually.

This success is ready to support businesses ranging from startups and small manufacturers to Science & Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP) tenants.
