We actively connect training and youth programs to produce talent from diverse sources.

Our Approach in Action at Genesee Valley BOCES

  • State-of-the-Art Mechatronics Training Lab trains students in daily high school classes
  • Students trained in Mechatronics Training Lab start job-shadows and co-ops in 11th and 12th grade through the Finger Lakes Youth Apprenticeship Program
  • Students graduate with training and access to workforce placements, six-week pre-apprenticeship trainings, and programs ranging from certificate to PhD at community colleges and universities
