Edwards Plans Growth at STAMP
Through the advocacy of US Senator Chuck Schumer, Congress passed the Chips and Science Act, which will provide generational investment in research and manufacturing of semiconductor chips.
In Genesee County NY, Edwards has announced a new semiconductor dry pump manufacturing facility will be a Factory of the Future at STAMP, New York’s Green Manufacturing Mega-Site.
The Edwards Genesee facility will have an initial capacity of producing 10,000 semiconductor dry pump annually, and will create approximately 280 jobs.
There will be capacity to manufacture 20,000 units annually, resulting in hundreds more jobs being created at STAMP.
