BATAVIA - Dairy Foods has named HP Hood's Batavia operations as the dairy industry publication's Plant of the Year.

Dairy Foods' honor cites that HP Hood, located in the Genesee Valley Agri-Business Park in Batavia, has grown to a 458,000 square-foot facility employing 418 professionals with high standards for safety, efficiency, and community investments.

Gary Kaneb, Hood president and CEO, shared to Dairy Foods that “The Batavia plant and its employees is a great story. It has been a key factor in the continued success of the Hood organization.”
