GCEDC solutions Create Path for CraFt Cannery's Growth
Project Overview:
Craft Cannery, a private label manufacturer and packager of specialty sauces, dressing and marinades, had quickly filled a 5,000 square-foot facility in Apple Tree Acres in Bergen and needed support to ramp-up operations.
Project Solution:
Working with the GCEDC, Craft Cannery received financial support to complete a 6,300 square-foot expansion that added new packaging and bottling lines. The GCEDC also introduced the company to the Grow-NY Food and Agriculture Competition, which the company received a $500,000 grant toward the project through.
