Batavia Home Fund
The Batavia Home Fund is an active program offering grants that support rehabilitation of vacant and blighted residential buildings, conversion of rental properties into single-family homes, and significant improvements to the exteriors of homes in the City of Batavia and surrounding properties in the Town of Batavia.
More than $130,000 of grant funds are currently available.
As of 2026, four grants have been provided for exterior rehabilitations of owner-occupied single-family homes.

The Batavia Home Fund is a partnership by City of Batavia, the Town of Batavia, and the Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC), and was funded by an initial contribution from the Genesee Gateway Local Development Corporation (GGLDC).
Additional funding will be provided from host benefit agreements on GCEDC-supported housing projects in the Town and City of Batavia.
